OUR FOUNDER
Pastor Joshua Alvarez
Pastor Joshua Alvarez was born in the city of San Juan, Puerto Rico. In 1995 his life took an entirely new meaning when he surrendered his heart to the Lord Jesus. Joshua is both the founding and lead pastor of The River Church and President of Kingdom Voice International.
Pastor Joshua has traveled around the world preaching the Gospel, where he has been featured on television and radio programs. He has had the privilege to meet many influential world leaders-political and religious. Joshua has ministered in rallies, churches, conferences, and crusades throughout the nations.
He is recognized as a recognized leader in the Body of Christ working under a beautiful anointing always with a clear emphasis on the unchanging word of God. He is described by those who know him as a “radical” and “influential” young man.
Joshua and his wife Sarah carry the same vision and are passionate to see all changed by God’s power in every nation on earth. They continue to take the message of God’s saving, delivering and healing power to the nations. They want to see the church arise, yet their message of the Gospel of Jesus Christ continues to be fervent and motivates them to “go into the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.” (Mark 15:15)

Our History & Mission
Kingdom Voice International (KVI) was founded in 2013 after an intense season of seeking the Lord by our founder. Pastor Joshua Alvarez, our founder has a rich heritage of ministry, as a third generation preacher, who at the tender age of five years old began his ministry.
At the time of this ministry’s founding the Lord commissioned us with the mission to equip the Body of Christ for the harvest. KVI’s mission is threefold: teach, preach and demonstrate the Word. We are called to this purpose locally, nationally and internationally.
We carry out this mission through media ministry, conferences and seminars, and by funding likeminded ministries with whom we are connected.
Furthermore, in 2013 we established Kingdom Voice University. An innovative, accredited, school of ministry centered on raising leaders who are fully equipped for ministry in the 21stcentury.
We also broadcasted a radio program called “Time of Change”, teaching believers how to walk in the power of God and reaching unbelievers with the love of Jesus.
Through this ministry countless nations and regions have been impacted for the kingdom God. When we look ahead we are excited to see the doors God is opening for global outreach and ask for your partnership in prayer as we obey the Lord’s mandate.

Sarah Alvarez
Sarah Alvarez was born and raised in Portland, Oregon. She was raised in a Bible believing home and came to faith at a young age. As a child she was involved in ministry with her family, primarily in the area of worship.
She married Joshua in 2012 and co-founded Kingdom Voice International in 2013. She serves in leadership at The River Church, a local church in the greater Portland area, where she and her husband are lead pastors. She has a teaching gift that strengthens godly families and equips them to walk in their purpose.
She has a passion to see the Gospel furthered in communities worldwide and to see souls saved through both local and global evangelism. Sarah and her husband have three children and she is currently pursuing her degree in Christian counseling.
